| Every accident in the school building, and on school grounds, must be reported immediately to the person in charge, administration and to the school nurse. Illness must be reported to the school nurse. If it is necessary for the student to go home or be referred to a medical facility, the school nurse will contact one of the parents/guardians, or the person listed as the emergency contact. In the event of serious illness or injury requiring immediate medical attention the parents/guardians will be notified and an ambulance will be called.
