Mission Statement
Humphreys American Elementary School , a collaborative community of life long learners, implements standards-based instruction that enables all students to become prductive problem solvers of a global, culturally diverse society.

Goal 1
All students will increase reading comprehension in the curricular areas.

In essence: All students will expand knowledge, make connections, and determine important information when reading non-fiction texts.

Goal 2
All students will improve their knowledge and skills in mathematics and will apply these skills in all content areas.

In essence: Students will use reasoning to articulate and prove mathematical concepts.
